Pick up your cross and follow me!
It's finally here!  No non-sense, tell it like it is teachings, w/plenty of scriptures to back up of what I say.  Teachings that please God, not mankind.  These teachings are designed for those of you who are sincere about the word of GOD, and that is only interested in Truth through our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

Explanation of my Teachings;  When you for example (T1-1); which means, "Teachings one, Part one".  If you see, (T1-3); it means, "Teachings one, Part 3)'.  When you see. (T4-5), it means, "Teaching four, Part 5).  Each teaching has its one teaching number and can contain one or more parts to that teaching.  I try to keep each teaching on its own page if possible, other wise you may be directed to another page to finish your studies of a particular teaching.  For questions, E-mail me at [email protected]

I am not a Pastor, Deacon, and so fourth.  I am just a humble servant of GOD, through his Son Jesus Christ.  I am nothing, but our Lord Jesus Christ is everything!  Praise and Glory be to God our Father in Jesus Christ, which we are saved through Jesus.
(T1)  Knowing Jesus;
To Love me is to Love my Father, and to reject me is to reject my Father.
This teaching is about knowing who Jesus is and what he expects from us after we accept him as Savior.  It is also about knowing the will of GOD and how to live for him.  GODS will must be done, not by our will but by his will.  1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV);  And now these three remain: Faith, hope and love.  But the greatest is love.

Matthew 5
The Blessings

 1.  And seeing the multitudes, he went up into the mountain: And when he had sat down, his disciples came unto him:
 2.  and he opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
 3.  Blessed are the poor in spirit: For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
 4.  Blessed are they that mourn: For they shall be comforted.
 5.  Blessed are the meek: For they shall inherit the earth.
 6.  Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: For they shall be filled.
 7.  Blessed are the merciful: For they shall obtain mercy.
 8.  Blessed are the pure in heart: For they shall see God.
 9.  Blessed are the peacemakers: For they shall be called sons of God.
 10.  Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness' sake: For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
 11.  Blessed are ye when men shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
 12.  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: For great is your reward in heaven: For so persecuted they the prophets that were before you.

Ephesians 6:10-19

 10.  Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
 11.  Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
 12.  For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
 13.  Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.
 14.  Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
 15.  And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
 16.  Withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
 17.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
 18.  With all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,
 19.  And on my behalf, that utterance may be given unto me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,
I have a saying, to know GOD is to love GOD, and to Love GOD is to Love his Son Jesus Christ.  But without that you do not have the Love of God in you.  If the Love of GOD is not in you, then by that you are not saved.  How do we know for sure that GOD Loves us?  How do we know for sure that we  Love  GOD?  

To know that GOD really loves us, is this; (ASV) John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

That's allot of Love wouldn't you say?  Could you love the world enough, to give up your only son to die for the world?  Of course not.  God has what is called Agape Love, which is perfect love.  We do not have that kind of love.  But as we grow spiritually  through out the years we will learn more and more of how to really love GOD, as long as we are teachable and humble in the sight of GOD.  GOD loves us so much that he has allot of patience with us, with all of our sins and faults.  When we fall, he pick us right back up again.  

In (ASV) Luke 15:11-24; explains what happens if one of us (Believers) were to fall away and come back home again and (REPENT):  18.  I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight: 19.  I am no more worthy to be called your son: Make me as one of thy hired servants. 20.  And he arose, and came to his father. But while he was yet afar off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck and kissed him.
21.  And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight: I am no more worthy to be called thy son.  22.  But the father said to his servants, Bring forth quickly the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:  23.  And bring the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat, and make merry:  24.  For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Now did  this dad give his son a lecture, or punishment when his son came back home after living a sinful life?  No he didn't, he was happy to just have his son back home with him, so that the two may have a close loving relationship again!  And as far as punishment, this son already punished him self by living an empty sinful life.  As far as a lecture, well that is not needed either, because the dad knows that this son has learned his lesson, and repented and turned from his wicked ways, so a lecture is not needed either.

So picture this, the dad is GOD, and  the son is you.  That is how we know that GOD loves us and proof of it.   If a lamb was to go astray, wouldn't the shepherd go looking for it?  If one of your children left home, wouldn't you be glad when your child returns back to you?  Like wise so is GOD happy when one of his children returns back home to him.  I could add many more scriptures for the proof of GODS Love, but I believe you have the idea.

How do we know for sure that we love GOD?  Allot of people say they love GOD through his Son Jesus Christ.  Now the question is, do they really Love GOD?  After this part of the teaching, you will find out if you really do Love GOD.  Lets start with the two greatest Commandments;  (ASV) Matthew 22:36-40;  36.  Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?  37.  And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  38.  This is the great and first commandment.  39.  And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.   40.  On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.

The first question is, how do you love GOD?  Well how much time each day do you spend with GOD through his Son Jesus?  I will use my self as an example and a witness unto you.  I am always talking  to GOD, when I am working, playing, driving my car and so fourth.  I always involve GOD in everything I say and do.  I can be looking right at you and talking to GOD at the same time, with out you even knowing it.  I have done that many times.  The best way to talk to GOD is to find some where private and talk to GOD out loud, where no one else can hear.  GOD wants all of us to do that!

Your heart, soul and mind is suppose to be always about GOD.  Now how do you do this?  It starts with your mind and attitude of what's the most important thing to you.  It should be GOD!  You should have the attitude that everything else, and everyone else is not important to you as GOD is!  Look at this way, we will be permanently living in Heaven and then in (New Jerusalem), so what or who can be more important than that?  To live with our Lord Jesus, and GOD, the angels and the rest of the saints!  So isn't this world and the world affairs not very important compared to that?

After your mind is made up to be committed to GOD  through his Son & our Savior Jesus Christ, then it will enter your heart, and  then enter your soul.  As Jesus says  (ASV)  Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, It is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. To know that we Love GOD, as it is written;  (ASV)  John 4:23,  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: For such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.

Now you may have notice that the scripture says "True Worshippers"!  If you  Love GOD you "WILL" worship him in "Spirit and in Truth" in everything that you say and do!  Nothing else is acceptable!  For example; if you have a sin, like being over weight or underweight for example, and you say that is not a sin, and that is a sin against the body, then you become a liar, you did not speak the truth, and by that you are not a true worshipper of GOD!

There is not such a thing as harmless white lies!  If you don't want someone to know something, then don't say anything at all or say I would rather not answer that question, but DO NOT LIE AT ALL FOR ANY REASON!  With that,  have you practiced loving GOD or have you been deceiving your selves?
I am telling you this because I love you brother/sister, and I DO NOT want any of you to lose your souls!
Always remember; "THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE'!  

Now for the next item, Worshipping GOD in Spirit.  Now, are you filled with the spirit, or do you work your self up to it?  This is how the Holy Spirit works; there has been times, while I was reading the Bible, the spirit would come up on me with out any warning or me working up to it.  The Holy Spirit does this when I am reading the Bible, Praising and Worshipping GOD, and  there has been times, the Holy Spirit has come up on me when I was dressing, and even tried to discourage me from talking to certain people.

I tell you the Truth, "BEWARE" of anyone who gets red in the face and acts like they are filled with the Holy Spirit, those people are NOT filled with the Holy Spirit, they are just working them selves up to deceiving  their selves and others!  Any one who does that, are false and not True Worshippers!  

Now concerning your neighbors.  Everyone is your neighbor, even people that live across the ocean are your neighbors.  Now, how do you love your neighbor as your self?  Well when a neighbor does you wrong, are you quick to get mad at them, yell at them, or despise them?  I do admit that this can be hard to show Love  to our neighbor that does us wrong.  At times we may feel like wringing their necks.  But we must not give in to that, and if we do we must immediately repent and turn from that!  We "MUST" do good to our neighbors so that the Light and Love of Jesus Christ may shine through with all of his honor and Glory!

Jesus tells us to do good to those who do us evil!  To finalize this part of the teaching I must tell you a few more things about what our Lord Jesus Christ says;  We must confess him with our mouth, we must hear and put his words into practice, we must do the will of GOD,  We must NOT hate any one, we must pick up our cross and follow him, we must forsake-our mothers/dads/sisters/brothers/land/and property for his name sake.

Now, have you been doing all of these things?  Do you really Love GOD through his Son & our Savior Jesus Christ?  He died for us, are you willing to die for him?  He has given up his life for us, have you truly given up your life for him?  Are you sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others?  Or have you hidden it in your heart?  You are an over comer, Jesus will help you to have the courage to live for him, if you ask him for it!  Don't be discouraged and give up!  E-mail me at [email protected]

(T1-2)   Faith in Jesus;
This part of the teaching, "Knowing Jesus" deals with, of what it means to have faith in our Lord Jesus and how do you have faith.  As it is written;  (ASV) Matthew 18:3.  And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4.  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.  Now, this scripture deals with humbling yourself and having faith of a little child.

Have Faith as a Little Child;  To understand this, lets look at little children and their parents.  Now the questions is, does this child worry about the parents feeding, housing and take care of the child?  No this child doesn't worry about those things, the child is only interested in playing and eating junk food and drinks such as pop. So this means that the child has faith without a doubt that the parents will take care of him/her.  This is the same kind of faith that we are suppose to have in GOD, through our Lord Jesus Christ!  But to have that kind of faith, means also that we must humble our selves before our Lord Jesus.  If we don't, we will not enter heaven.

For example; lets suppose you have a 4yr old child.  Does this child ask you, "How are you going to buy food", "Did you pay the rent", "did you get the car fixed", and so fourth?  Why doesn't your child ask you these things?  It is because, this child is humble and has faith in you that you will take good care of this child.  Now the big question is, do you have this kind of faith in God through our Lord Jesus?  How do you know that you have that kind of faith?  Well ask your self this, do you worry about anything?  If you do, DON'T!  Do you think to your self that everything is going to be OK because you have faith in Jesus, in bad times and in good times?  Have Faith as a little child!  

I know that you are sitting back and saying, "that is easier said than done"!  No body said following Jesus was going to be easy.  No body said being an adult would be easy either, but here we are, we are adults!  You must make up your mind.  Are you going to follow Jesus or not!  If you want easy, go back to grade school and draw with crayons and do finger painting, because being an adult with allot of responsibility is not easy either.  Some of you went to universities and colleges, was that easy?  Of course not.  As it is written; (ASV) Matthew 6:25.  Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment? 26.  Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value then they?

This scripture tells us not to worry, because our Father GOD will take better care of us than the birds.  So why do you worry?  Do you think to your selves that GOD won't take care of you?  I tell you the Truth, he will take good care of you!  As it is written; Matthew 6:32.  For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33.  But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34.  Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: For the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

This scripture tells us, if we seek the kingdom, and his righteousness; Our needs will be taken care of!  Do you believe the scriptures?  Then if you say you do, then do you now believe that GOD through Jesus will take good care of you?  Why have you doubted before?  We live only a short time on earth, but we will live forever in heaven.  Do you want to take a chance and loose your soul to the lake of fire by worrying?  As it is written; (ASV) Matthew 13:22.  And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that heareth the word; and the care of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

Is your faith in your spouse, your job, your church or just in riches?  Is your faith in your making more money?  Don't you believe that our Lord Jesus does miracles and will do miracles to help you! Is any thing you have or don't have worth the lake of fire?  Is your family, relatives and friends worth the lake of fire?  Is your bills, problems and so on worth the lake of fire?  If you were sent to the lake of fire, wouldn't that be more of a problem that anything on earth?  So where your faith in our Lord Jesus?

Do you want to have GREAT FAITH in our Lord Jesus?  Here is the scripture, that you can go by and put into practice;  (ASV) Matthew 8:
5.  And when he was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
 6.  and saying, Lord, my servant lieth in the house sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
 7.  And he saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
 8.  And the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof; but only say the word, and my servant shall be healed.
 9.  For I also am a man under authority, having under myself soldiers: And I say to this one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
 10.  And when Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
 11.  And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven:
 12.  But the sons of the kingdom shall be cast forth into the outer darkness: There shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
 13.  And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And the servant was healed in that hour.

It was the "Will" of our Lord Jesus for this centurion's servant to be healed.  Many people seems to over look the "Will of God", through his Son Jesus Christ.

Examples of Faith;  These following examples are what happened to me and my family when we had faith in our Lord Jesus.  "Remember" this, everything must be done "BY THE WILL OF GOD", not by our will.  A couple of weeks ago our son was having severe tooth pain, he was waiting to have a root canal done by our dentist.  Well that was a few days away and our medical doctor prescribed Tylenol 3, for his pain.  It wasn't helping very much at all.  So, we went to church on a Friday night and during service I was praying to Jesus for him to take our sons pain away until he gets the root canal work done.  I was just singing and praising Jesus and as happy as can be, I wasn't worried about it because I had faith in Jesus that everything will be OK.

That very night, our son's pain went away, and he didn't take any more Tylenol 3.  It was about 3 days from that for him to have the dental work done.    PRAISE AND GLORY GOES TO GOD OUR FATHER THROUGH HIS SON JESUS!!!  See what faith can do!  BUT, I TELL YOU THIS, IN ORDER FOR GOD TO BLESS YOU, YOU MUST BE OBEDIENT TO GOD THROUGH HIS SON JESUS CHRIST!!  (NIV) See Matthew 6:19-34, for proof.  AND YOU MUST PRACTICE THE COMMANDMENTS OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!!  

Faith and the "WILL OF GOD"!  Now, let me ask you this, can you just simply have faith and no action?  Can you sit back and say I have faith that I will get a job, but you don't go out job hunting?  Does name it and claim it work?  IS it not by the will of GOD that all things are done and not by our will? As it is written; (ASV) James 2:17.  Even so faith, if it have not works, is dead in itself.   Do you act on your faith?  Do you deceive your self and do the name it and claim it?  For example; If you say you have faith that tribulation will not take place, does your belief make it so?  Of course not!  The will of GOD must be done!  If you are not obedient to GOD and you say you have faith in getting the money to get your car fixed, does that make it so?  Of course not.  Then by that evidence and fact, "name it and claim it does not work"!  

Another example; if you say you have faith that you will be able to buy a house in California, but GOD wants you to go to Africa to Minster to people about Jesus Christ.  Does that make it so, when your faith is against the will of GOD?  Of course not.  So by that, wasn't your faith invain and selfish, and not seeking the will of GOD in your life?  As it is written; (ASV) Mark 3:35.  For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.  Does not everything in the universe, from the beginning to the end, worked according to the "Will of GOD"?  Doesn't Genesis 1 and 2 deal with the "Will of GOD"?

Isn't the entire Bible, (WORD OF GOD) written and put into action according to the "WILL of GOD"?  The point is, if your faith is against the "Will of God", then your faith is invain!  Your faith must be according to the "Will of GOD"!  

A Specially Note:  Our faith can not be selfish, or greedy.  Our Faith must be thoughtful of GOD and others.  Gain does not mean Godliness!  If so what of Moses, John the Baptist, Jesus and the disciples?  Were they rich?  (ASV) Matthew 19:24.  And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.   Doesn't the non-believers live a financial well off life style?  Does that make them Godly?  Of course not!  God wants us to pray for others more than for our selves, specially our enemies!  If we do not have Love towards everyone, including our enemies, we gain nothing and have nothing.
